🔄 Refund & Returns Policy – Cove Bay Vintage

We want you to be confident in every purchase. This policy outlines your rights and our procedures for cancellations, returns, and refunds.

 

🧺 Vintage Items – Sold As-Is

All vintage items are sold as-is and are not eligible for return or refund due to faults or change of mind. We provide detailed descriptions and photographs to ensure transparency. Please review listings carefully before purchase.

 

🎨 Handmade & New Items

Handmade or new items (e.g. arts & crafts) may be eligible for return under UK consumer law. Specific terms will be provided on relevant product pages.

 

❌ Order Cancellation

  • You may cancel your order within 2 hours of payment by contacting us via the contact form on the site.

  • If the order has already been processed or dispatched, cancellation is not guaranteed.

  • If cancellation is not possible, you may refuse delivery and the item will be treated as a return (if eligible).

 

 

📦 Change-of-Mind Returns (Handmade/New Items Only)

  • Must be requested within 14 days of receiving the item.

  • Items must be returned in original packaging, unused, and in resaleable condition.

  • Return postage is the customer’s responsibility.

  • Contact us via the contact form on the site to request a return and receive the return address.

 

 

 

🛠️ Faulty Goods (Handmade/New Items Only)

  • Must be reported within 14 days of delivery.

  • If the item is deemed faulty, we will provide a return label.

  • If fault is not confirmed, return costs fall to the customer.

  • Photographic evidence must be provided within 3 working days of delivery for postal damage claims.

 

 

 

💳 Refunds

  • Refunds will be issued once returned items are received and inspected.

  • We may deduct for any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is reasonable.

  • Refunds will be made using the original payment method.

  • We do not refund delivery upgrades or non-standard shipping costs.

 

 

 

📅 Timing

  • Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving returned goods or proof of return postage.

  • If no goods were supplied, refunds are issued within 14 days of cancellation confirmation.
